The Island Games is a biennial multi-sport competition bringing together island communities from across Europe and beyond. Governed by the International Island Games Association, the Games provide athletes with the opportunity to compete at an international level while proudly representing their island.
Athletics is one of the core sports within the Games programme and consistently showcases some of the highest standards of competition. Events typically include:
Sprints (100m, 200m, 400m)

Be eligible under Island Games residency and nationality rules

Selection Process
Performances are reviewed after the qualification window closes.
The selection panel assesses athletes against the published standards.
Team size restrictions may apply in certain events.
Selected athletes will be formally notified and required to confirm availability.
Jersey Athletics reserves the right to consider exceptional circumstances, relay requirements, and overall team balance when finalising selections.
